You will notice soon, if you haven't already, that "kieronmitchell.com" now lands on a boring ol' page with a handful of simple links, one of which is this blog.
I decided that I needed to have a landing page that allowed people to jump to my professional profile, or my calendar, or pictures of our family, etc. more easily.

Whew! It's been awhile since any blog post, mostly due to the fact that I've been working on my sidebar, and trying to automate updates so that I don't actually have to sit down and do a post.
I tweet about once a day, so I figure that gives a flavor for what's going on, and then there's that 12second video update thing I do when I don't look TOO down and out (but due to the angle of the camera, I actually always end up looking a bit like jabba-the-hut). There is also "reddit", which is a thing that tracks web pages I read. Every picture I upload gets a link there, as well as anything I bookmark.
So...what do you, my faithful four blog readers miss out on?
Well, apparently somethings like:
1. I designed a T-Shirt for my annual gaming weekend.
2. Um...I gotta run to my next thing....maybe that's also why I now post so seldom.
One bad thing about knowing that people will get text messages whenever I update my blog, or send a tweet, is that I hold back posting early in the morning (it's about 2:20a right now, so I plan to save this as a draft, then post it later today).
I also tend not to tweet too often, since I want my facebook, etc. status to be static for a day or so at least (to give people a chance to read it).
On a different subject, I just finished watching "The Devil's Advocate". Keanu is COMPLETELY wooden, and the plot is kinda formulaic. Combine that with more graphic nudity than I'm comfortable with, and I give it a couple stars out of four.
Due to overwhealming interest (ok, to be truthful, my Mom implied she could use something like this), I've added a link on the left which says something like "Get an E-Mail when this web page changes".
If you want to be notified whenever I add a new entry, click on that link, enter your e-mail, and make sure the "url" says http://kieron.blogspot.com/ (it should say that automagically, but if you click on it from a particular post, you might need to change it so that it says http://kieron.blogspot.com/ ).

Yeah, I’ve heard of it…but what is a blog, exactly?
Well, it can be just a running online journal. I’ve decided to experiment with one, putting the Mitchell family exploits on it. Just because I sent you this note doesn’t mean I expect you to keep reading the blog (or even look at it once, really). It just meant that you are a family member or personal friend in my work address book (aren’t you proud?).
