| Robbery Suspect Sketch ReleasedMetro Police have released a sketch of the man suspected of forcing his way into the home of an elderly Irvington couple. This occurred Friday morning near Emerson Avenue and 9th Street. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late twenties, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark stocking cap. It's believed he left on foot westbound on 9th and then northbound down an alley. Lewis Blanchard, 80, is still in the hospital, and a family member says he may be partially blind in one eye from the beating. Blanchard's 75-year-old wife, Frieda, has been released from the hospital. If you recognized the person in the sketch or have any information, please call Crimestoppers at 362-TIPS. | | | | | |
