Back from Kansas

Left at 6am Friday and drove 8 hours to Lawrence, Kansas. The drive wasn't bad at all - the girls slept in the back of the car for the first couple hours.

On Friday night we were in the rehersal (it, and the wedding, were at a very pretty farm), then went to the rehersal dinner. The wedding itself was Saturday night at 8pm.

It was nice to see my cousin, Vesta and her husband, Jan (whom I hadn't seen in years). I also met their daugher, Ella (short for Isabella?). Her husband is Mexican/Belgian. I also met a friend of the groom, named Chris - he lives in San Francisco.

We drove back the next morning, leaving at about 9am. We stopped for dinner at Chicago's pizza - yum!

The trip back seemed longer, probably since we left later.
