Day #2 of Sahara Challenge

Mass at 8am at St. Ignatius, then a quick granola pancake (very tasty) followed by a session on the Islamic Belief system (basically, works-based salvation).

Lunch, then the afternoon session which included an intersting talk on "folk Islam" (the "evil eye", etc.).

Dinner, then we watched a quick (20 minute) BBC documentary on "Turning Msulim in Texas", followed by the testamony of Jessica and Taquir Sagri, two Crescent Project staff members who conversted from Islam to Christianity.

Ending at 9:30pm.
