For Here or To Go? Ordering for the Homeless at McDonald's

True story:

A guy stopped me outside my local McDonald's today after my lunch and said he was hungry.

So, I motion him inside and get in line to order him a burger ("for here").

The manager asks me, "did he approach you in the lot?"

"Yes", I say.

"He's not allowed in here. I just called the police."

I turn to the cashier, "I need to change that order to 'to go', please."
