Prayer of the Faithful

Ok, here's my first draft of the Prayer of the Faithful for this week (only one more week to go, and then it's someone else's turn - yeah!):

1. That we grow in our appreciation of the gift of Christ's Body and Blood;
   
2. For those charged with public safety and welfare, especially challenged on busy holiday weekends;
3. That all who have given their lives for their county be remembered with honor and gratitude;
4. That Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Bernadette students graduating from High School grow their connection with Christ through his Body and Blood;
5. Wordsmith: To bear witness to the [inestimable] value of the indissolubility and fidelity of marriage..
