I feel like a moron
My internet connection has been down since the kittens knocked over my modem.
I decided the dang thing was broken, and had it unplugged, and ready to take to swap it for a new one, when I decided to try it one more time. It was acting very odd, but at least one light was turning on.
When I finally called tech support, they had me press the button to turn it on. Boy did I feel like a moron.
Works fine now THAT THE ON BUTTON HAS BEEN PRESSED.

My wife's boss called me last night saying that one of his laptops would not connect to their wireless network, but all the others would. He wanted to know if he should reinstall Windows. I had him press the button on his laptop to turn on the wireless antenna (it had been accidentally pushed, so it was off). Worked fine after that. LOL
