Good Friday

Court's not feeling well - she stayed home from work yesterday.

Today is Good Friday...supposed to eat less today in memorial of Christ's crucifixion.

The girls are at school until noon. They have mass at 9:00a (where they are doing a "living stations of the cross"). I'd like to go, since Maddie has a part in it.

Then, the whole school is "silent" from 10a to noon. That'll be interesting. I think it's the first time they've done that.

At 1:30, there is the opportunity to receive communion (this is the only day of the year that there is no mass offerered).

Interestingly, there will be no celebration of Dyngus Day on Monday. That is, boys won't drench potential brides-to-be with water while they are sleeping?
